Ahhh, an update (finally!)

Hello All!

Finally, some new work. To the left you'll find my 2006 x-mas card (I told you I made one! LOL!) and a birthday card for my sorority sisters. Plus, a new pic of me, and a couple picks of the furbabies in my life.

I got a digi camera, a thumb drive and some cat stamps...

I will have new pics soon as I get them on the thumb drive and onto the computer with the high speed connection (as trying to upload from home with dialup is waaayyyy trying on my patience)!

I'll even have a more decent pic of me, where you can actually see my face for the shadows. Now aren't ya'll way excited now?

And if you're tired of looking at me, you will be able to look at my kitties, Pi and Bear. "MEOW"!

It's finally allllllll done, and I'm doing my best to catch up with things I've neglected while working on it-- including my crafts. Stay tuned to this same bat-channel and I'll be posting some fun new creations soon!

OMG! It's Christmastime already!

Jimminy Cricket, where does the time go? Just yesterday it was Thanksgiving, and now it's time for Christmas.

I've been working with my new kitties and MIA from the blog world.... I DO hav x-mas cards to share, and will have to post them eventually! Egads!

Hope everyone has a great holiday, whether it be Hanukkah, Christmas, Kwanzza, or Solstice (i have friends that celebrate all!!!!

Gift card holder/Alternative Christmas

Stay tuned as I will be posting pictures of a holiday gift card holder (a design re-worked and inspired by stamping friend Katie) project I've been working on. These card holders will be used for an Alternative Christmas fundraiser for my sororities philanthropy project, Project Turtlepods.

What is Alternative Christmas? That's where you purchase things like donations to charity and give them as gifts. The event will take place at a sister's church this Sunday, November 19th. I hope we raise a lot of money for the project.

Ahhh, November

... well, with Halloween over, it's time to think about Thanksgiving and Christmas/Hanukkah/Holiday cards, cause' it's all just around the corner!

I've been struggling recently as I've had a migraine since last Monday (Oct. 30) and no medicine to alleviate the pain. Thankfully, I can re-order my script this Friday, but that doens't help me last Monday thru now... and maybe tomorrow and beyond, depending on how long this migraine lasts. Geeze... really slows the creativity!

However, I did get one holiday swap card done, and a cute little turtle card that I will post later. I want to design all my Christmas cards this year, so I better get crackin!

Halloween

... is such a fun day! Candy, dress up, all-around fun!! Above are some cards I made and some treat boxes, too. Plus, a fun pic of a co-worker! Happy Halloween!

10-10-20

So, last night I went to a local SU! demo's 10-10-20 class and had a totally awesome time! I made 10 fabulous cards that are ready to go at a moments notice! Plus, had a terrific time chatting away! If your demo offers such a class, I highly recommend it!
